The school, which follows the American curriculum and is WASC-accredited, serves students from Nursery to Grade 12. It focuses on student support, wellness, and child safeguarding, making these positions crucial to strengthening its educational services. The first position available is for a Math Learning Development Teacher. This role provides dedicated support to students in developing core math skills across multiple grade levels, from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Responsibilities include conducting small group and one-on-one intervention sessions, assisting classroom teachers with differentiated activities, and supporting in-class learning. The teacher may also be required to substitute for classes when needed. The ideal candidate for the Math Learning Development Teacher position should have proven experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics, ideally at the K-12 level. Fluency in English, especially as a first language, is required to effectively communicate with students. The second role is for an English Language Development (ELD) Teacher and Library Assistant. This is a dual position focused on providing support to English Language Learners (ELL) while also assisting with library operations. The role includes leading small reading and language groups and helping the main librarian with daily tasks such as cataloging and student management. As with the first position, there may be times when substituting for classes is necessary. Applicants for the ELD Teacher & Library Assistant role must have strong organizational skills and be able to speak clear English. The ability to manage library tasks while providing targeted language support to ELL students will be essential in this position. Both positions require a Bachelor’s Degree, with a preference for a degree in education or a relevant subject. A Library Science background is preferred for the library assistant role. Fluency in English as a first language is also a must for both positions. The starting salary for these roles is 30,000+ THB per month, depending on the candidate's credentials and experience. In addition to the salary, the positions come with medical insurance and a provident fund for retirement. NIVA places great importance on child safeguarding and requires thorough background checks.
