IGK Learning Centre—the premier educational hub in Mae Sot—is seeking a dynamic Foreigner Lead to fill the critical role of English Academic Lead! 🏫 ABOUT THE ROLE As our English Academic Lead, you will be the driving force behind our department’s educational strategy, ensuring that our UK Curriculum delivery remains world-class. You will be a mentor to our teachers, an architect of our academic programs, and a key link to our student community. 🎯 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Academic Planning: Define and drive the long-term educational goals of the English department. Curriculum Innovation & Oversight: Lead the implementation, review, and enhancement of the UK Curriculum. Teacher Empowerment & Mentorship: Design professional development training, conduct observations, and provide expert mentorship to our teaching staff. Academic Standards & Assessment: Set and monitor rigorous assessment standards to ensure exceptional student outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as an academic ambassador, engaging with parents and the broader community on academic progress and school initiatives. ✅ REQUIREMENTS Native English Speaker or high-level English proficiency. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, English, or related fields. Proven experience in teaching and academic leadership with the UK Curriculum. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
