This opportunity is ideal for qualified English teachers who are interested in working with young learners in a professional international teaching environment. The main responsibilities of the role include delivering English lessons to students and supporting their learning progress. Teachers will also monitor student performance and provide guidance to help learners improve their language skills throughout the course. In addition to classroom teaching, instructors will contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of courses. This includes participating in programme evaluation, assisting with course development, and engaging in professional development activities and performance management processes. The role is offered as a fixed-term contract for one year, with the possibility of renewal. Teaching assignments may take place at British Council teaching centres on weekends as well as at partner schools during weekdays, and all positions will involve teaching children. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree along with a CELTA qualification or an equivalent teaching certification. Candidates should also have experience teaching young learners, and previous experience working with Thai students is considered an advantage. Both native and non-native English speakers are encouraged to apply. However, non-native English speakers must demonstrate C2-level English proficiency according to the CEFR scale. The starting pay rate is 946.50 Thai Baht per teaching hour, with higher rates possible depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include support for visa and work permit arrangements as well as opportunities for training and professional development. Applications must be submitted through the official online link below by 15 March 2026, as applications sent by other methods will not be accepted. https://careers.britishcouncil.org/careers/job/563705890030429 |
