The successful applicant will help deliver a strong PE programme that encourages physical skills, teamwork, resilience, and a lasting interest in sport. Teaching will mainly cover Key Stages 3 and 4, with possible involvement in Key Stage 5 depending on experience and school requirements. The role requires a teacher who can motivate students of all abilities to engage confidently in physical activity, combining inclusive participation with opportunities for competitive sport. In addition to classroom teaching, the teacher will contribute to extracurricular sports, including coaching teams, organising fixtures, and supporting events that enhance student experiences. Experience with school swimming programmes would be beneficial due to the school’s facilities. This position offers a two-year contract beginning on August 1st, 2026, and provides an opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking international school environment where sport is central to student wellbeing and development. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging PE lessons, supporting the development of a balanced curriculum, and using assessment to monitor progress and improve teaching. The teacher will also help foster a positive sporting culture, encourage participation, and contribute to extracurricular activities such as coaching teams and organising competitions and events. Additional duties involve promoting inclusive participation while supporting students aiming for competitive pathways, contributing to the pastoral system (potentially as a Homeroom Teacher), communicating effectively with parents, and actively participating in the wider school community through events and activities. Applicants should be native English speakers with a recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, along with certification like QTS. A minimum of two years’ teaching experience is required, preferably involving secondary PE students, alongside a strong understanding of effective teaching methods and experience in extracurricular sports programmes. Highly desirable qualities include previous international school experience, familiarity with IGCSE or A Level PE, and experience managing a school swimming programme, including organising lessons, supporting competitions, ensuring safety, and working with staff. A commitment to global citizenship, modern teaching approaches, and student engagement is also valued. The school offers a two-year contract with a monthly salary of 40,000 Baht, a completion bonus, health insurance, tuition fee support for one dependent child, and optional on-campus accommodation. Further details will be shared during the interview process. Applications must include a cover letter, CV with referees, and identification, and should be sent via email: TSI International School, established in 1985, is a non-profit institution in Bangkok with a strong and growing reputation. The school has undergone significant development in recent years, improving its facilities, expanding enrolment, and working towards full accreditation. It offers excellent sports facilities and prides itself on a supportive community, strong leadership, professional trust, and a commitment to staff development, making it an attractive place to work.
