The kindergarten programme is guided by EYFS principles, emphasizing a child-centered approach where learning is driven by each child’s interests, development, and wellbeing. English language skills are nurtured naturally through play, exploration, communication, and meaningful interaction, allowing young learners to build confidence while feeling secure and happy in their environment. Teachers are expected to work in a supportive and welcoming setting where strong relationships, consistent routines, and emotional wellbeing are valued just as much as academic achievement. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate English lessons tailored specifically for kindergarten-aged children. Teachers will also support language development through play-based, child-led, and hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity and participation. Another key aspect of the role is fostering early communication abilities, including listening, speaking, vocabulary development, and introductory phonics skills. Maintaining a calm, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment is essential, alongside regularly observing, assessing, and documenting children’s progress in alignment with EYFS-style assessments. Collaboration is important, as teachers will work closely with Thai educators and classroom assistants while also building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and participating in meetings and professional development. Applicants are required to hold a bachelor’s degree, demonstrate native or near-native English proficiency, and have experience in EYFS or early years education, along with a solid understanding of child development and a warm, patient teaching approach. Additional advantages include a recognized teaching qualification, familiarity with the EYFS framework, experience with early phonics programmes such as Jolly Phonics, background in IEP or international kindergarten settings, and prior experience living or working in Thailand or Southeast Asia. The school offers a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, a contract aligned with the Thai academic year including a completion bonus, visa and work permit support, medical insurance, paid holidays, curriculum guidance, ongoing support, and the opportunity to work within a friendly and collaborative kindergarten team in Bangkok; applicants should submit a CV and a brief cover letter detailing their early years experience to Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. |
