This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team of educators shaping the Elementary Program at KMIDS.

KMIDS Elementary is an English-medium international program that primarily serves Thai students. The curriculum follows Common Core standards and emphasizes a thematic, inquiry-based learning approach. The school seeks an experienced teacher who can contribute to establishing high-quality educational practices as the program continues to grow.

Currently, KMIDS Elementary is in its developmental phase, featuring small class sizes of around 12–15 students per grade. This structure allows teachers to focus on individualized instruction and provide personalized support to each student. The school maintains a low student-to-staff ratio, is well-resourced, and has future plans to pursue WASC accreditation.

Applicants must hold a valid teaching license and have experience teaching upper primary grades, preferably Grade 4, in either a national or international English-medium school. Familiarity with the PYP framework or similar inquiry-based teaching approaches is considered an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to fostering students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key responsibilities include delivering inquiry-based lessons aligned with Common Core standards, designing curriculum and assessments, creating a positive classroom environment, monitoring student progress, and providing timely feedback. Teachers are also expected to collaborate with parents and colleagues, contribute to school development and accreditation initiatives, participate in professional development, and support co-curricular activities.
