| Write or Paste Ad | International School of Samui is currently seeking a Learning Support Intervention Teacher to provide academic and behavioural support for students across Key Stages 1, 2, and 3. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about helping learners overcome challenges and achieve success in their education. The successful candidate will work closely with individual students and small groups, offering tailored support to improve skills in literacy, mathematics, and overall learning development. The position focuses on creating a positive and encouraging environment where students can build confidence and reach their potential. An important aspect of the role involves planning and delivering targeted intervention programmes for pupils who require additional assistance. The teacher will also monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and evaluate the effectiveness of the support strategies being used. Collaboration is a key part of the position, as the intervention teacher will work alongside classroom teachers, parents, and the SENCO to ensure students receive consistent and effective guidance. The role also includes providing pastoral care and supporting students’ emotional well-being within the school environment. Applicants should have previous experience supporting pupils with low attainment or specific learning needs, as well as a strong understanding of the national curriculum across KS1, KS2, or KS3. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills are essential, together with a flexible, positive, and proactive attitude.
