| Write or Paste Ad | Bangkok Christian College, located in Silom, Bangrak, Bangkok, is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative academic team. The successful candidate will begin on August 1st and teach Chemistry to students in Grades 10–12. We believe in creating a professional environment built on trust, teacher independence, and empowerment. Our teachers are encouraged to focus on delivering excellent teaching and meaningful learning experiences while receiving the support they need to succeed. The position offers a competitive fixed salary package, with a monthly salary of 73,000–75,000 Baht. Additional benefits include a 40,000 Baht completion bonus calculated according to the joining date, an annual salary increase of up to 3,000 Baht per month, and a 12-month contract with at least eight weeks of paid holiday plus all Thai public holidays. Teachers will also receive medical insurance, assistance with work permits and visa extensions, opportunities for additional classes, seven paid sick days, and free lunch provided on campus. These benefits are designed to support teachers both professionally and personally. The teaching schedule requires 16 teaching hours per week, equivalent to 24 forty-minute periods. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with an earlier finish at 3:15 PM on Fridays. Teachers are also expected to participate in two Saturday morning school events each year. Applicants must be native English speakers from the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area, while teaching qualifications such as an MEd, PGCE, or PGCEi are strongly preferred. Ideal candidates should have at least two years of high school teaching experience, preferably in Thailand, and must currently be residing in Thailand.
