This role includes teaching during evenings and weekends, catering primarily to adult learners, but also children and teenagers of varying skill levels. The ideal candidate is friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to helping students achieve their learning goals while continually improving their own teaching skills. Our courses cover a wide range of topics, including general Chinese, business Chinese, HSK preparation, phonics, and more. Most lessons are private, though some small group classes accommodate up to eight students. Occasionally, corporate classes may have slightly larger groups. Teachers at Modulo enjoy competitive pay rates. Private lessons are 370 baht per 50 minutes during weekdays, with 15% higher rates on Saturdays and 10% on Sundays. Small group lessons can pay up to 560 baht per session. First-year teachers typically earn over 43,000 baht per month, with rates increasing on contract renewal. Modulo provides up to 40 days of unpaid leave annually, allowing teachers to explore Thailand and Asia. With four convenient locations near Bangkok’s BTS and MRT stations—Siam Paragon, Central World, Central Rama IX, and Icon Siam—teachers have easy access to all our campuses.
