SBS is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional who holds the proper teaching certification and is ready to become part of its international teaching team. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting student development, both through the academic curriculum and through extracurricular activities. The teacher will be responsible for teaching Business and some Humanities subjects, following the Cambridge Curriculum framework. They will design engaging lesson plans, prepare instructional materials, and manage class information through the school’s administrative system. Adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles and student interests is an essential part of this role. Assessment and feedback will also play a vital part in the teacher’s duties. The teacher will evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and work closely with parents and colleagues to address academic or behavioural concerns. They may also develop and implement remedial programs to support students who need additional help. In addition to classroom teaching, the teacher is expected to participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and school-wide events. They will also take part in extracurricular initiatives such as clubs or academic competitions, contributing to the school’s vibrant and holistic learning environment. Applicants should possess a degree in Business, Economics, or a closely related field, along with a valid professional teaching qualification or certification. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Master’s degree or have further specialized credentials. Candidates are expected to have at least two years of teaching experience in a structured educational setting after obtaining their teaching qualification. Prior experience teaching Business at both lower and upper secondary levels under the Cambridge International Curriculum (IGCSE and A-Level) is particularly valued. Experience in working with international students, expatriate communities, or English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners will be considered an advantage. Candidates who have organized or supervised business trips, contests, or student projects are also encouraged to apply. Applicants should be fluent English speakers, ideally with a proficiency level of C1 or higher. They must demonstrate strong skills in communication, presentation, critical thinking, classroom management, and teamwork.
