The school is recruiting teachers for the P4–P6 levels and is particularly interested in candidates who can also teach mathematics and science. Applicants must be native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, or New Zealand and hold a legitimate university degree. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Thailand is required, with strong preference given to candidates who hold formal teaching qualifications such as a degree in education, PGCE, or a postgraduate diploma in education. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, creative, and dependable, with a genuine passion for teaching and a caring, child-centered approach. Energy, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility are essential qualities for this role. Phoenix Wittaya School is a well-established bilingual institution offering both Thai and English programmes. Located in Pattaya, the school provides an excellent work-life balance, with easy access to beaches, cultural attractions, and city amenities, while Bangkok is only a few hours away by car. The role involves facilitating teaching and learning across the upper primary curriculum. Teachers are expected to deliver lessons in English language skills, grammar, mathematics, science, and social studies. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:40 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The school offers a competitive salary of up to 60,000 THB per month for fully qualified teachers, with a minimum salary of 50,000 THB for those without full qualifications. Additional benefits include free accident insurance, approximately seven weeks of paid vacation after probation, free Thai lunches, and free tuition for up to two of the teacher’s children. Visa and work permit fees are reimbursed upon completion of the contract, with administrative support provided throughout the process.
