Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and innovative classroom is a key responsibility. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or a related field, possess a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE with QTS), and have at least 2 years of international school teaching experience. Strong programming skills (e.g., Python or Java) and familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Computer Science are essential. Substitute Teacher (Primary Level) Meritton British International School is looking for a flexible substitute teacher who can cover primary classes on short notice. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment with the potential for ongoing and future permanent positions. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of primary teaching experience, ideally hold a teaching qualification, and demonstrate strong classroom management skills. They should be able to adapt quickly to different year groups and subjects while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Key responsibilities include delivering lessons across various year groups as needed, ensuring smooth classroom operations, and supporting students’ learning in an engaging and inclusive way.
