| Write or Paste Ad | Kidz Village International Kindergarten is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Class Teacher to become part of its early years team. The school serves children between 12 months and 6 years old, using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum as its foundation. This is further enhanced by The Project Approach, which encourages inquiry-based learning and places children at the centre of the educational experience. In this role, the Lead Class Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering a high-quality early childhood program that supports each child’s individual growth. The position involves creating a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment, while also taking a leadership role within the class. Collaboration with teaching assistants and building meaningful relationships with families are key aspects of the job. The teacher will plan and carry out age-appropriate lessons aligned with the EYFS framework, ensuring that activities are engaging and inclusive for all learners. They will also observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining clear documentation of development. In addition, the role includes guiding and supporting assistant teachers to ensure effective teamwork within the classroom. Maintaining open and positive communication with parents is an important responsibility, helping to build strong partnerships that support each child’s learning journey. The teacher will also ensure that all children are cared for in a way that prioritizes their safety, emotional wellbeing, and overall development, while contributing to school events and the broader community. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, with a PGCE or equivalent qualification preferred. Experience or academic background in Early Years Education is essential, along with a solid understanding of child development. Strong organisational, classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills are also required, as well as a proactive and enthusiastic attitude toward teaching young children.
