At this time, only native English speakers are eligible to apply for the position. The role involves teaching a range of English skills to Thai secondary students with varying levels of proficiency. The main teaching responsibilities include grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, literary analysis, expository writing, and IELTS exam preparation. The maximum teaching load is 20 hours per week, designed to support effective lesson delivery and student engagement. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a postgraduate teaching qualification such as a Diploma in Education or PGCE. Applicants should be native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, and preference is given to those already residing in Thailand. Previous teaching experience is strongly preferred, particularly at the secondary school level, with at least one year of relevant classroom experience considered an advantage. The successful applicant must also be available to begin work immediately. The initial employment contract runs until March 2024, with the possibility of renewal for a further 12-month term if both parties agree. Teachers are expected to work approximately 19 teaching periods per week, with each period lasting 50 minutes. Class sizes are capped at a maximum of 25 students per class across all year levels.
