| Write or Paste Ad | British Mandarin International School in Bangkok is currently hiring a Native English Speaker (NES) Secondary Biology Teacher for a full-time position with a monthly salary of approximately 85,000 Baht. The teaching schedule for this role includes around 20–25 class periods per week, focusing on delivering high-quality Biology instruction to secondary-level students. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and teaching engaging Biology lessons that follow the British Curriculum and Cambridge educational frameworks across different secondary year groups. Key subject areas include cell biology, infection and response, bioenergetics, organisation, homeostasis, inheritance, variation, evolution, and ecology, while helping students build strong scientific understanding and analytical skills. The teacher will also organize and supervise practical laboratory experiments and science activities, ensuring that all equipment is used safely and effectively within a well-managed learning environment. Additional duties include preparing semester plans and weekly lesson outlines, assessing student progress through written and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records through the School Bright system. The role also involves supporting students who are preparing for Cambridge examinations, collaborating with the Science Department and other school faculties, and participating in science fairs, STEM activities, and extracurricular programs. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biological Sciences, Science Education, or another related field, along with at least two years of experience teaching Biology or General Science at the secondary level. Candidates should possess strong classroom management abilities, practical laboratory skills, and a solid understanding of the British Curriculum and Cambridge science standards. Experience working in an international or British curriculum school is considered an advantage, and applicants from all nationalities, including Thai and Filipino candidates, are welcome to apply.
