This position is based at the Icon Siam branch and requires availability during evenings and weekends as part of the regular teaching schedule. As one of Bangkok’s fastest-expanding language schools, Modulo is looking for a professional, approachable, and enthusiastic educator who is committed to helping students achieve their language goals while continuously developing their own teaching expertise. Teachers will work with a diverse range of learners, including adults, teenagers, and children, with adult students making up the majority of the teaching load. The school provides instruction across a variety of programs, including General English, Business English, phonics, and preparation courses for internationally recognized examinations such as IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC. Most classes are conducted on a private basis or in small groups of no more than eight students, although some corporate training sessions may involve larger class sizes. Modulo offers competitive compensation, beginning at 410 THB for each 50-minute private lesson taught from Monday to Friday. Teachers receive higher rates on weekends, including a 15% increase on Saturdays and a 10% increase on Sundays. Small-group lessons can pay as much as 600 THB per class, and first-year teachers typically earn more than 45,000 THB per month, with increased lesson rates available upon contract renewal. Full-time teachers are entitled to limited paid leave in addition to up to 34 days of unpaid leave annually, providing flexibility for travel and personal time. This arrangement allows educators to explore Thailand and other destinations throughout Asia while maintaining their employment. Professional development is strongly encouraged, and the school invests in teacher growth through paid coaching, mentoring, and training programs. While high standards are expected, teachers receive the support and resources necessary to meet those expectations and continue improving their skills. Modulo operates four conveniently located campuses throughout Bangkok, situated near BTS and MRT transportation networks. These branches are located at Siam Paragon, Central World, Central Rama IX, and Icon Siam, making commuting convenient for staff members. The school assists employees with obtaining visas and work permits and covers the cost of work permits. Additional benefits include health insurance, annual salary increases, opportunities for internal promotion, substantial discounts on language courses, and participation in quarterly team-building activities such as river cruises, charitable events, and meals at leading hotels and restaurants. Prospective applicants who would like additional information about the role, compensation package, and working environment can review the school's candidate guide at https://www.modulolearning.com/docs/guide-for-candidates.pdf. The recruitment team also welcomes inquiries from interested candidates and is happy to answer questions via email. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree, hold a recognized English teaching qualification such as CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL, and either reside in Thailand or be willing to relocate. Candidates must be native English speakers from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, or Australia, be available to teach evenings and weekends, and be prepared to commit to a one-year contract.
