Regent's International School Bangkok is seeking a full-time Social-Emotional Counsellor to support student wellbeing and personal development at its Wang Thonglang campus. This role focuses on providing confidential counselling services and guidance to students facing emotional, behavioural, mental health, or personal challenges. The successful candidate will help students build resilience, emotional regulation skills, and effective coping strategies while fostering a positive and supportive school environment.

The counsellor will provide individual and small-group counselling sessions, implement age-appropriate interventions, and offer crisis support when necessary. Responsibilities include maintaining professional boundaries, identifying cases that require specialist referrals, and keeping confidential records in accordance with safeguarding and data protection policies. The role also involves supporting students through key educational transitions and helping remove barriers to learning and wellbeing.

A significant part of the position involves promoting mental health awareness throughout the school community. The counsellor will design and deliver wellbeing and Learning for Life programmes, facilitate workshops for students, parents, and staff, and contribute to preventative initiatives that encourage positive emotional development. They will also act as a visible advocate for wellbeing across both primary and secondary sections of the school.

The successful candidate will play an important role within the school's safeguarding framework, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) on child protection matters. Duties include responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns, supporting students involved in safeguarding cases, completing risk assessments and safety plans when required, and collaborating with teachers, school leaders, and families to provide consistent support for students.

In addition, the counsellor will work with external professionals such as psychologists, therapists, and psychiatrists to coordinate referrals and ongoing support. The role includes monitoring student wellbeing trends, contributing to the development of counselling services, attending professional development activities, and participating in regular clinical supervision sessions. PRIMARY EAL DEPARTMENT TEACHING ASSISTANT

Regent's International School Bangkok is also recruiting a full-time Primary EAL Department Teaching Assistant to support English as an Additional Language learners within its primary school. Based in Wang Thonglang, Bangkok, this position offers an opportunity to assist teachers in delivering high-quality language support and helping students develop confidence in their English communication skills.

The teaching assistant will work closely with classroom teachers to help EAL students access the curriculum and participate fully in lessons. Responsibilities include supporting learners in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, reinforcing key vocabulary and language structures, and assisting with small-group interventions and targeted language-development activities.

The role requires promoting an inclusive learning environment where students of varying English proficiency levels can succeed. The successful candidate will help adapt learning activities to meet individual needs, support newly enrolled students as they adjust to school life, and encourage participation, independence, and confidence within the classroom.

Additional duties include monitoring student progress in language acquisition, maintaining accurate records, and sharing observations with teaching staff to help inform future planning and support strategies. The teaching assistant will also contribute to classroom management, support positive behaviour, supervise students during school activities, and ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
