The school is actively strengthening academic outcomes through curriculum consistency, purposeful lesson design, and the systematic development of confident English language learners across all grade levels. ✅ AVAILABLE POSITION • Lower-Secondary English Teacher – M.1-3 (1 position) Class Structure • Typical class size: 20–30 students ⭐ PROFESSIONAL ROLE OVERVIEW Teachers at Saint Dominic School are expected to deliver consistent, well-planned instruction that supports measurable student progress and upholds clearly defined academic standards. We particularly welcome experienced, reliable classroom practitioners who can create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences while maintaining strong classroom routines and a respectful, culturally sensitive approach toward Thai traditions, the school community, and student development. 💼 SALARY & BENEFITS • 12-month contract • Salary range: 40,000–50,000 THB per month, based on qualifications and relevant experience; negotiable for exceptional candidates • Native English-speaking candidates with a Master’s degree in Education and a recognized teaching license may be offered a higher salary • Approximately 5 weeks paid school holidays plus Thai public holidays • 40 THB per workday coffee allowance • 12-month accident and emergency insurance • Work permit and visa assistance provided • Optional after-school teaching opportunities may be available for additional income • Modern air-conditioned classrooms with projector-equipped teaching spaces 🧾 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Teach both English and Mathematics at Primary level • Deliver structured, high-quality lessons aligned with school expectations and curriculum standards • Prepare semester course outlines and weekly lesson plans • Differentiate instruction for mixed-ability classes • Support the development of literacy and foundational numeracy skills • Prepare and administer assessments, including midterm and final examinations • Monitor student progress through regular grading and feedback • Ensure textbooks and worksheets are reviewed and graded regularly • Maintain accurate student records and submit grades following examination periods • Contribute to academic events, departmental collaboration, and school activities • Maintain a safe, organized, and disciplined classroom environment 🕒 WORKING SCHEDULE • Monday–Friday • 07:40–16:45 • Teaching load: approximately 20 periods per week 🎓 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Applicants must meet the following criteria: • Native English speaker only: USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa • Bachelor’s degree or higher • Previous Primary teaching experience strongly preferred • Experience teaching Mathematics and/or English at Primary level preferred • Familiarity with phonics, literacy development, and foundational numeracy is an advantage • Teaching qualifications are strongly preferred, such as PGCE/PGCEi, BEd, MEd, CELTA, TEFL/TESOL, or equivalent • Experience teaching in Thailand is an advantage • Strong classroom management, professional reliability, and a collaborative work ethic • Must currently reside in Thailand • Must be available to begin immediately or as soon as possible 🎤 RECRUITMENT PROCESS & APPLICATION PROCEDURE — STRICTLY EMAIL ONLY Selection is competitive due to the high volume of qualified applicants. • Online interviews begin immediately • Applicants must currently reside in Thailand • Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a teaching demonstration 🚫 Walk-in applications cannot be accommodated.
