| Write or Paste Ad | Pan-Asia International School (PAIS), an IB World School in Bangkok, is currently seeking a qualified STREAM / Computer Science Facilitator (Teacher). The position is set to begin on July 20, 2026, and the school is looking for a skilled educator with strong subject knowledge and international teaching experience. Applicants should have at least 2–3 years of experience teaching Computer Science and STREAM-related subjects in an international school or an English-medium educational setting. Candidates are expected to demonstrate professionalism, strong work ethics, and a successful record of supporting high school student achievement and graduation outcomes. All candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with a recognised teaching qualification and a minimum of two to three consecutive years of teaching experience. These requirements also align with Thai work permit regulations for foreign teachers. Preference will be given to applicants with an education degree and prior experience in IB schools. For safeguarding purposes, PAIS requires all applicants to provide valid police clearance certificates from their country of origin and current residence, verified through an international agency where applicable. In addition, three professional references from current and previous employers must be submitted before any appointment can be confirmed. Candidates for this role should have strong expertise in IB Diploma Programme Computer Science, including both Standard Level and Higher Level content. Required knowledge includes object-oriented programming, algorithms, databases, computer networks, systems fundamentals, web technologies, programming languages such as Java and Python, version control systems like Git and GitHub, and IB assessment structures. Experience supporting internal assessments, extended essays, and project-based learning using tools such as Jupyter Notebooks, IDEs (e.g., IntelliJ or PyCharm), and ManageBac is also expected. In addition, applicants should be familiar with STREAM education, including robotics using VEX IQ Gen2, covering topics such as robot design, sensors, programming, engineering processes, teamwork, data analysis, and competition preparation.
