| Write or Paste Ad | Native speakers only! The Thai Japanese Association School (Bangkok Campus) is currently seeking applications for a Grade 5/6 English Teacher position. As the largest Japanese school outside Japan, the school educates almost 2,500 students and provides a structured, well-equipped, and culturally diverse environment that offers strong professional support and long-term career opportunities. The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly compensation package ranging from 80,000 to 90,000 THB, depending on Japanese language ability. Additional benefits include a yearly completion bonus worth 200% of one month's salary and participation in a provident fund with school contributions of up to 3%. Teachers enjoy generous leave benefits, including 40 days of paid vacation in addition to Thai public holidays. The school also provides airfare for teachers recruited from overseas or a 60,000 THB departure allowance for both locally and internationally hired staff members. Comprehensive health insurance coverage is included, and the school will arrange and fully cover the costs of obtaining a visa and work permit for the successful applicant. The Grade 5/6 English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and student-focused English lessons that integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while ensuring that lesson plans align with the school's curriculum. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining academic records, participating in school events and activities, and contributing to the ongoing development of the English curriculum. Applicants must be native English speakers from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Education, a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification. A valid teaching license, QTS, or a Thai teaching license is required.
