Primary and IGCSE First Language English Teachers Starting Date - 03 Aug 2026 CISM is seeking inspiring teachers for the roles of Primary Years English Teacher and IGCSE English First Language & Literature Teacher. The ideal candidates are passionate classroom practitioners with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, committed to high academic standards, and eager to contribute to our school's ongoing growth. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 (𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟏 ~ 𝟐) 𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 1) Undertake the responsibilities of a Form Teacher in relation to the allocated class. 2) Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Years 1 and 2 in alignment with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. 3) Establish and maintain effective classroom management to foster positive habits and discipline among students. 4) Implement structured learning plans that balance the pace, challenge, and interests of the students. 5) Utilize Cambridge resources and integrate appropriate technologies to maximize student engagement, learning experiences, and instructional quality. 6) Monitor students’ progress, set measurable targets, and adjust lesson plans accordingly. 7) Provide regular progress reports to the Principal, Head of Department, and parents as required. 8) Establish effective and respectful working relationships with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders. 9) Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development training as required. 10) Adhere to school policies outlined in the staff handbook, including Child Safeguarding and Health and Safety procedures. 11) Be willing to accompany students on field trips and school activities outside of the instructional day when required.
