The Australian International School Bangkok is seeking a full-time Specialist Classroom Music Teacher to join its Music Department. The successful candidate will deliver engaging classroom music lessons, lead choirs, and support school performances while working collaboratively with three other full-time Music teachers.

The role includes teaching music classes across AISB campuses as required and working closely with the Primary to Year 7 Music Teacher to prepare and submit lesson plans before the start of each school term. The successful applicant will also be responsible for completing student assessments and reports within the required deadlines.

In addition to classroom teaching, the Music Teacher will help organise and deliver After School Activities, including private music lessons and choir programs, as well as contribute to the school's Summer School program. A strong commitment to enriching students' musical experiences beyond the classroom is essential.

The position also involves promoting and supporting AISB's Choir, Singing, Piano, and Performing Arts programs. Responsibilities include helping to lead the Junior, Senior Primary, and Secondary choirs, while assisting with vocal training for Secondary students.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Performance Committee to plan and deliver school productions, concerts, recitals, assemblies, and other special events, both on campus and at external venues throughout the academic year.

Working alongside the Head of Primary and the Music and Performing Arts team, the teacher will contribute to the development of promotional initiatives that showcase the school's Music and Performing Arts programs during the current school year and assist with planning future campaigns.

The role also includes supporting the marketing of the school's music activities by providing lesson highlights, photographs, videos, and captions for publication on the school's Facebook page, website, and Instagram.
