Write or Paste Ad Norwich International School Bangkok is looking for an enthusiastic, highly qualified and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join its international school community immediately or as soon as possible.

Salary: 90,000 Baht per month.

The ideal candidate will be a native-level English speaker with a recognised teaching qualification and relevant experience teaching English at secondary level. Experience with the UK curriculum, particularly IGCSE, A Level or IB Diploma Programme English, would be a significant advantage.

The successful teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured and appropriately challenging English lessons. They will teach students across different secondary age groups, depending on their qualifications and teaching experience.

The role involves helping students strengthen their reading, writing, speaking and critical-thinking abilities while maintaining high academic standards. The teacher will also prepare students for external examinations such as IGCSE, A Level and IB Diploma assessments where relevant.

Candidates should use a variety of effective teaching, learning and assessment methods to monitor and support student progress. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records of lesson planning, assessments and student achievement.

The successful applicant should be able to adapt and differentiate lessons to accommodate students with different abilities, educational backgrounds and levels of English. A strong commitment to inclusive education and student development is essential.

Applicants must have a recognised teaching qualification, relevant secondary-school English teaching experience and native-level English proficiency. Strong knowledge of English language, literature and literacy, together with excellent classroom-management and communication skills, is required.

Experience with IGCSE English, A Level English, IB Diploma Programme English, UK examination boards or international-school environments would be particularly desirable. Experience working with students who speak English as an additional language would also be an advantage.

They will be expected to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues while supporting the school's values, safeguarding policies and commitment to student wellbeing.
