| Write or Paste Ad | China International School (CIS), located in the Nawamin area of Bangkok, is currently recruiting two Secondary Teachers to join its team. The available positions are for Secondary English and Secondary Mathematics teachers, working with students aged approximately 12–18 within an international school environment. The successful candidates will teach engaging English or Mathematics lessons designed to meet different student ability levels. Teachers will be expected to work within a Cambridge-aligned international curriculum and contribute to students’ academic development through effective, well-structured classroom instruction. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, preparing students for critical thinking and analytical activities, and supporting them in developing strong problem-solving skills. Teachers will also be expected to assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain an organized and supportive learning environment. The role also involves effective classroom management and participation in advisory or pastoral programs. Teachers will work collaboratively with the school management team and international faculty to support curriculum development, school activities, and the overall educational program. Applicants must have fluent English with a clear, neutral accent and demonstrate very high proficiency in both spoken and written English, with a minimum level equivalent to IELTS 7.0 or CEFR C1. Candidates must also hold at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, English, Mathematics, STEM, or a related field. A recognized teaching qualification is required, such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA with at least 120 hours, or a valid official teaching license. Candidates should also have between one and two years of secondary teaching experience, although additional relevant experience would be advantageous. A clean criminal background check, issued within the previous six months, is another requirement. The school particularly values candidates with direct experience preparing students for Cambridge English examinations, including PET and FCE, as well as Cambridge ESL programs. For the Mathematics position, experience teaching IGCSE Mathematics is especially desirable. Applicants with experience teaching IGCSE ESL or English as a Second Language will also be viewed favorably for the English position. The school offers a monthly salary of approximately 35,000–40,000 Baht, depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
