Write or Paste Ad British Mandarin International School (BMIS) is seeking a caring and experienced Learning Support Teacher to support children across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Primary. The successful candidate will help students overcome learning barriers, participate confidently in class and achieve measurable academic progress.

The role involves assessing students’ strengths and areas of difficulty, identifying priorities in collaboration with teachers and parents, and providing targeted individual or small-group support. Particular emphasis will be placed on early language development, phonics, reading and writing.

The Learning Support Teacher will develop practical learning plans with clear objectives and conduct regular progress reviews. They will also work closely with classroom teachers to adapt lessons and learning activities while ensuring that students remain fully included in the classroom environment.

The successful candidate may also coordinate with external specialists, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, when appropriate. Maintaining effective communication with families and following the school’s safeguarding procedures will also be an important part of the position.

Applicants should hold a recognised teaching qualification and have at least three years of experience working across EYFS and Primary. Experience delivering early literacy, reading and writing interventions is required, while additional training or experience in special educational needs (SEN), inclusion or supporting diverse developmental needs would be an advantage. Strong English skills, patience, sound professional judgement and respect for confidentiality are also essential. Candidates already based in Thailand will be preferred.

BMIS offers a monthly salary of THB 45,000–55,000, depending on qualifications and experience, along with the opportunity to join a supportive and developing school community.
