Write or Paste Ad The Newton Group, established in 2019, is located in central Bangkok just a short walk from Siam BTS. The school serves students in years 2-7 at the primary level and years 8-13 at the senior level, focusing primarily on IGCSE, IAL (International A-Level), and BTEC curricula under Pearson Edexcel. The teaching team consists of a blend of international teachers and Thai teachers with native-level English proficiency, and further details about the school and its programs can be found at https://newton.ac.th/en/.

Due to ongoing school growth and current teachers transitioning into new roles within the organization, the school is recruiting for the current academic year. Ideally, the successful candidate would be able to start within one month of accepting the position; however, the start date is flexible and can be negotiated to accommodate both parties.

The school is seeking an English Teacher with a background in one or more of the following areas: IGCSE, IELTS, and/or SAT English, for students in Years 10-13. This position requires expertise in delivering language instruction to senior-level students preparing for internationally recognized examinations.

The second opening is for a Physics Teacher to deliver IGCSE content with the potential to progress into teaching IAL, working with students in Years 10-13. The third position is for a Humanities Teacher with a background in one or more of the following subjects: Politics, History, and Critical Thinking, also for Years 10-13.

The fourth position is for a Maths Teacher capable of teaching Pre IGCSE, IGCSE, and IAL across Years 8-13. This role requires the ability to instruct students at varying levels of mathematical proficiency within the Pearson Edexcel framework.

Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree or above in the relevant field and preferably possess a teaching qualification such as TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent, though this is not essential. A minimum of one year's experience delivering in-class teaching of the specialist subject with the relevant age group is required, and an understanding of Pearson IGCSE and IAL programmes would be beneficial but is not mandatory.

Preference will be given to native English speakers, particularly those currently residing in Thailand, as well as Thai nationals with native-level proficiency in English. This reflects the school's commitment to maintaining high standards of English language instruction across all subject areas.

The benefits package includes working hours from 08:30 to 17:30 Monday through Friday, inclusive of a lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00. The starting salary begins at 50,000 THB per month, depending on qualifications and experience, and will be reviewed after a probation period of 119 days.
Private health insurance is provided after passing probation, along with a renewable 12-month contract, an annual bonus equivalent to one month's salary, full coverage of all visa and work permit costs by the school, and a return flight to the employee's home country upon successful completion of the one-year contract.
